Saavan Myneni is Vice President of the Federal Branch, overseeing the Senior Associate Consultants on the Federal Team. He is a sophomore from Austin, Texas. Saavan is studying Economics and Political Science in the College of Arts and Sciences. He has been a member of Penn Policy Consulting since Fall 2020, and has been a member of the federal team throughout his time in the club. At Penn, he is also involved in the Undergraduate Econ Society, the JMS Pre Law Society, and Consult for America. In his free time, he enjoys reading, hiking and traveling.

Jack Immanuel is Vice President of the Federal Branch for Training as he oversees the Associate Consultants on the Federal Team. Jack has been a member of Penn Policy Consulting since Fall 2020, and has been a member of the Federal Committee throughout his time in the club.

Daniel Da is a Senior Associate Consultant on the Federal Team, having joined PPC in Fall 2020. Daniel is a sophomore from Seattle, Washington, studying Economics with a minor in Computer Science. In high school, he conducted anthropological and social justice research with professors in China and various non-profit organizations. In addition to PPC, he is involved with the Penn Symphony Orchestra and the Chinese Student Association. In his free time, Daniel likes to listen to music, play the violin, hike, and swim.

Noel Vossen is a Senior Associate Consultant on the Federal Branch, who joined PPC in Fall 2021. She is a sophomore in the College, from Toledo, Ohio, pursuing a major in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with a minor in Economics. Noel is interested in tackling criminal justice reform, healthcare, and public transportation. After college, she currently plans on attending law school soon after. Outside of PPC, Noel is a content manager and editorial associate for The Penn Review.

Abhinav Basvoju is an Associate Consultant on the Federal Branch, having joined PPC in Fall 2021. He is a first-year student in the Wharton school, from Katy, Texas, pursuing concentrations in Finance and Business Economics and Public Policy. Abhinav is interested in healthcare and education policy, and though his future plans are not yet set in stone, he hopes to someday work in the Department of Health and Human Services. Outside of PPC, he is involved in the Joseph Wharton Scholars program.

Akash Jain is an Associate Consultant on the Federal Branch, having joined PPC in Fall 2021. He is a first-year student in the Engineering school, from Princeton, New Jersey, pursuing a major in Computer Science with a minor in Political Science. Akash is interested in revolutionizing transportation policy and fighting education inequity. In the future, he hopes to work at the intersection of tech and policy, utilizing innovations in tech to solve the problems of tomorrow. Outside of PPC, Akash is involved in Penn Masti Dance Team and has been a Software Engineering Intern at Bloomberg for the past two summers. He is also a Benjamin Franklin Scholar and AIME Qualifier.

Amin Ahmed is an Associate Consultant on the Federal Branch, who joined PPC in Fall 2021. He is a sophomore in the College, from Springfield, Ohio, pursuing a major in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics with a minor in Statistics. Amin is interested in transportation policy, and though his future plans are currently undecided, he hopes to do something related to transportation, such as in the automotive, aviation, or train industries. Outside of PPC, he is involved in Penn POLIS, Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Consulting (DISC), Global Research Consulting (GRC), Muslim Student Association (MSA), Kite and Key, Transfer Student Organization (TSO), and Penn Ping Pong.

Kate Berreth is an Associate Consultant on the Federal Branch, who joined PPC in Fall 2021. She is a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Criminology, Political Science, and Statistics. Growing up in Chapel Hill, NC, Kate led her Ethics Bowl team and worked in the office of NC governor Roy Cooper. In addition to her work with PPC, Kate is an intern at a Philadelphia refugee resettlement nonprofit and teaches music lessons at local high schools through the Netter Center. Kate is especially passionate about wrongful convictions and reforming the criminal justice system.

Maria Jose Rodriguez Velazquez is an Associate Consultant on the Federal Branch, having joined PPC in Fall 2021. She is a junior in the College, from Tampico, Mexico, pursuing a major in International Relations with a minor in German. Maria Jose is interested in immigration and drug decriminalization policy. She loves working on policy briefs that she is passionate about, and with a team who shares her passion. Outside of Penn, Maria Jose is involved in Mex@Penn, the Penn German Society, College Cognoscenti, CWiC, FUERZA music group, and leads a charity in Mexico called Pintando Sonrisas.

Nathan Chen is an Associate Consultant on the Federal Branch, who joined PPC in Fall 2021. He is a first-year student in the Engineering school, from Auckland, New Zealand pursuing a major in Systems Science & Engineering. He is incredibly interested in the intersection of technology and society, particularly the policy frameworks necessary to ensure that technology is implemented responsibly and effectively. Outside of his involvement in PPC, Nathan is currently a member of the Engineering Deans’ Advisory Board, SEAS Wellness, PIT@Penn and the Assembly of International Students. In his free time, you’ll find him exploring Philly, binging on Asian food, or rewatching episodes of Peaky Blinders.

Burhanulhaq Brula is an Associate Consultant on the Federal Branch, having joined PPC in Fall 2021. He is a freshman from Bowling Green, Kentucky, studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. Besides PPC, he is also involved in the Penn Undergraduate Law Journal, the Penn Political Review, and the Muslim Student Association. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and playing soccer.
